When we got back from vacation, it had cooled down from the 90 degree weather to much more reasonable 70-80 degree weather. We decided to take advantage of this by taking Natalie apple and raspberry picking at an orchard not far from our house. We came home with 12 1/2 pounds of apples and almost a pound of raspberries! I've made raspberry-apple crisp and Dave made cinnamon apple pancakes. We plenty of apples left over for a lot of homemade applesauce, yum!
